Chanel studied Biology and Education Studies at Keele University before undertaking a SCITT programme (School-centred initial teacher training) to gain her Qualified Teacher Status. Chanel joined BFS in 2016 as a Science Teacher and has since been promoted to Head of Science. Chanel has said “I find science inspiring because it teaches us to the appreciate the complexity of life around us.”
When not teaching Chanel enjoys travelling, music, dance and is currently learning Spanish.
