John Moore
Curriculum Leader DT & Computing, Data Controller & ICT Systems

John has an Aeronautical Engineering BEng (Hons) and has worked in the aerospace industry before becoming a teacher

He wanted a new challenge, and thought working with young people would be fun!

The subjects he enjoys most are technology and computing as they are constantly evolving subjects, throwing up fresh challenges and learning opportunities.

His priorities this year tie in with developing our knowledge curriculum, involving all the students with no opt outs, and quick-fire peppering of all the basic knowledge that underpins our curriculum.

John is responsible for the design, management and analysis of educational performance data in each of the Trust’s schools, and for designing the timetable.

John works closely with senior leaders and curriculum managers in each school to maximise the efficiency of the operational side of teacher-deployment, and allow leaders and teachers to get on with their jobs!
